A walk in La Val, in the heart of the Dolomites, is one of the most fascinating experiences for nature lovers. Explore the most captivating places of the Fanes-Sennes-Prags Nature Park, the mountain meadows of Rit and Armentara, which have been cared for by our farmers for centuries. On excursions along the many well-marked trails of our hiking area, such as the “Tru di Pra” (Meadow Trail), you will discover a highly diverse landscape ranging from blooming meadows to larch forests, shady spruce woods, streams, vast dwarf pine fields, and panoramic peaks with breathtaking views.

The Ciablun hiking farmhouse, located near the long-distance hiking trail “Tru di Pra,” is a true delight for gourmets and those seeking peace and quiet, even during the winter months. Not far from the hustle and bustle of the Dolomiti Superski ski areas, there is still a small corner of the world that radiates the magic of a winter wonderland.

The mountain meadows resting under a thick blanket of snow, with their hay huts and the imposing Dolomite peaks all around, quickly help you forget the stress and rush of everyday life.

Groomed winter hiking trails, toboggan runs, and snowshoe tours can be reached on foot directly from our farmhouse. Your car, too, can enjoy a few days of rest.
