Clouds will linger along the main Alpine ridge, and a few snowflakes are possible eastwards from the Brenner Pass. Further south, a northerly foehn wind will break up the clouds, making for a mostly sunny day.
Temperatures range from 5° in the upper Puster Valley to 16° in the lowlands.

On the eastern main ridge of the Alps, particularly in the Ahrntal mountains, there will be light snowfall in the morning; towards the south-east, the clouds will clear and it will be mainly sunny. It will be noticeably colder than recently and windy.

Tuesday will also start off sunny, but clouds will increase from the east as the day progresses. As things stand today, Wednesday is likely to see more clouds than sunshine. Thursday is expected to be very sunny again. Temperatures will continue to fall as the week progresses.
